GM had the pleasure of talking with Ivan at The Mix Room Studios in North Hollywood, CA. The two discussed GM’s secret sauce, where he talks committing AutoTune via UAD Console through his laptop rig to save CPU with near zero latency. From there, GM says he likes to Melodyne the vocal to give it a more natural sound while still having the Auto-Tune effect. They also discussed GM’s top 3 favorite plug-ins: Sugar by Process Audio, SSL E-Channel by Waves, and Melodyne by Celemony.
